Changes After Construction

Featured Highlights

  • The structure is dedicated to the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary (Evangelistria) in the Christian faith.

  • The worship space is covered with a barrel vault; the covering systems and structural elements used in the interior are of wood.

  • The bell tower is above the courtyard gate on the northern facade; the tower is approximately 4 m high and has a rectangular plan.

  • The bell frame has a lattice arrangement; it is completed with a spire and a cross.

  • There is a water well within the complex.

  • Today, the congregation has lost its former density; on days of worship, it prefers the nearby churches.
