Changes After Construction:
  • The lodge remained active until 1925.
  • After 1925, the tevhidhane section began to be used as a workplace; the tomb was kept open to visitors.
Prominent Features:
  • The lodge was also known by the names Hariri Muhammed Efendi Lodge, Sheikh Salih Lodge, and Pazar Lodge Semahane.
  • The structure stands in the Topkapı quarter on Pazar Tekkesi Street, adjacent to the Kürkçübaşı Ahmed Şemsettin Mosque.
  • The complex consists of two adjoining buildings; one contains the tomb of Sheikh Hariri, while the other contains the lodge unit.
  • There are eight sarcophagi in the tomb; the sarcophagus belonging to Sheikh Hariri is distinguished from the others by a different arrangement.
