Changes After Construction

  1. The base of the single-balcony minaret at the northwest corner of the building is original, and the upper part was rebuilt in the 18th century.

  2. Repairs were carried out by Sadeddin Bey, the trustee of the complex, in 1765-66 (it is stated in the repair inscriptions).

  3. The shops were repaired in 1895-96, but today they are in their renovated state.

  4. Restorations were made throughout the building at various periods, and the inn, primary school and muvakkithane (timekeeping room) have survived to the present day.
