Poyrazköy Mosque
Changes After Its Construction:
- According to traditional accounts, it is said to have been first built in 1441 by the military unit in the region.
- It was built in 1782 by the Grand Admiral Cezayirli Hasan Pasha.
- It was restored by the local people in 1991.
- Today, it belongs to the Directorate General of Foundations.
Prominent Features:
- It has a single minaret and a single balcony.
- The interior of the mosque is completely covered with tiles with the nightingale pattern.
- The upper walls are decorated with Ottoman hand-carved work.
- There are motifs from the Ottoman period on the ceiling.
