Changes After Construction
The structure, whose construction was started in 1903 by Bartolomeo Giustiniani, a Levantine from a well-established Italian family, was completed in 1909.
Under the administration of the Italian Salesian Congregation, it was used for educational purposes under the name “Italian Primary School and Vocational School of Arts” until 1939.
Between 1939 and 1983, it continued to be used as the dormitory building of both the Italian School and the Italian High School.
In 1989, due to increasing demand and need, an annex building was constructed within the campus, and the historical building was restored.
