Changes After Construction

  1. It was built in 1872 for educational purposes by the French Catholic Franciscan Sisters under the name “Saint Elizabeth School.”

  2. During the First World War, it continued its educational function under the Ministry of Education with the name “Cem Sultan Model School.”

  3. In 1959, it was purchased by Mümtaz Tarhan and became the first building of Private Tarhan College.
