Changes After Construction

  1. It was first built as a masjid in the Yeldeğirmeni region in 1835-1836 during the reign of Mahmud II.

  2. In 1902, this dilapidated mosque was rebuilt in the name of Rasim Pasha.

  3. It last underwent extensive restoration in 2011-2012.
