Changes After Construction

  1. Built in 1932 for educational purposes in the early Republican period, the building assumed different educational functions over time.

  2. In 1985, it was restored through a protocol signed between the Hacı Ömer Sabancı Foundation and the Governorship of Istanbul, and in 1988 it began to serve as the Sabancı Teachers’ House.

  • Today, the building, which preserves its original state, also served under the names Anadoluhisarı 34th Primary School and Anadoluhisarı Special Education Primary School.
