Changes After Construction:
  • It was registered as a cultural asset in 1970.
  • From 1995 onward, it was used for a short period as a teachers’ house under the district directorate of national education.
  • At the end of the 2011–2012 academic year, it was transferred to the adjacent vocational and technical Anatolian high school to be used as a practice hotel.
  • It was taken into restoration in 2000 and underwent a repair process completed in approximately three years.
  • It has been stated that restoration works were initiated in 2022, and that in 2024 the building was again taken into maintenance/renovation.
Prominent Features:
  • With its position oriented toward the Bosphorus view, it is one of the historic structures of the central coastal skyline of Sarıyer.
