Sekbanbaşı Abdurrahman Ağa was the commander of the elite cavalry units in the Ottoman army during the reign of Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror.

He was responsible for the units stationed at the Golden Horn walls during the conquest of Constantinople and was martyred while fighting Byzantine soldiers in the Ayakapı area.

Having served in the front lines of the conquest army, he played a significant role in ensuring the victory.

He is remembered among the people as a hero for his bravery during the siege of Istanbul.
