Baltaoğlu Süleyman Bey had it built by Paşmakçı Şücaeddin Efendi. --The minbar of the mosque was built by Seyyid Mehmed Efendi, the imam of Sultan Ahmed III, known as “İmam-I Sultani Hacı İmam” --The prayer area and fountain were built by Hazerpare Ahmet Pasha.

Changes after its construction
A well was added to the garden in 1648.
It was repaired by the Minister of Zahire* Arif Efendi in 1826-1827.
It lost much of its originality during the extensive restoration in 1960.
