Changes After Construction

  1. In 1916, Durefşân Kalfa enlarged the kitchen, connected the tomb to the tevhidhane, and had the necessary repairs carried out.

  2. From its foundation until 1925, the lodge remained affiliated with the Bedevi order; it was closed in 1925.

  3. Only limited remains of the tevhidhane, harem, selamlık, kitchen, tomb, and cistern units have survived to the present day.

  • The line of postnişins includes the founder Seyyid Hüseyin Hıfzı Efendi (d. 1884), Seyyid Mehmed Said Efendi (d. 1916), Seyyid Mehmed Nesib Efendi (d. 1925), and Seyyid Mahmud Said Efendi (d. 1963).
