Changes After Construction:
  • In 1916, Durefşân Kalfa enlarged the kitchen, connected the tomb to the tevhidhane, and had the necessary repairs carried out.
  • From its foundation until 1925, the lodge remained affiliated with the Bedevi order; it was closed in 1925.
  • Only limited remains of the tevhidhane, harem, selamlık, kitchen, tomb, and cistern units have survived to the present day.

  • It is also known by the names Hüseyin Efendi Lodge, Beylerbeyi Bedevi Lodge, Hüseyin Hıfzı Efendi Lodge, and Şeyh Seyyid Efendi Lodge.
  • The lodge is located in the Beylerbeyi quarter of Üsküdar.
