Changes After Construction:
  • After the fire of 1914, it was used as a shelter for people left homeless.
  • In 1976, it acquired the function of a masjid with the addition of a minaret.
  • A room at the right corner of the entrance was later converted into a mosque/masjid.
Prominent Features:
  • It is also known as the Efdalzade Madrasa and the Malta Madrasa.
  • It is a small-scale madrasa consisting of domed rooms arranged around a small courtyard.
  • In the courtyard, there is an ablution place with a stone basin and three taps.
