Changes After Construction:
  • The building was used as a residence in the 1920s.
  • The building remained unused for a long period and fell into a dilapidated condition.
  • The basement level was filled with rubble in the 1970s due to surrounding construction; during the restoration process, it was cleared and brought back down to its original level.
  • Restoration works were initiated in November 2023 in line with projects approved by the Conservation Board.
  • During the restoration, it was determined that the building had no foundation; a well foundation system was implemented at the original level.
  • The dome was reinforced internally and externally with carbon fiber material to increase rigidity.
Prominent Features:
  • The building is two-story.
  • Its wall masonry is in the alternating stone-and-brick technique.
  • The upper covering includes a dome and a vaulted roof structure.
  • The entrance is through the low-arched doorway at the chamfered northeastern corner.
  • The inscription gives the date A.H. 1175 / 1761–62; the section containing the inscription is covered with cement plaster.
