Changes After Construction

  1. The excavation works revealed the historical remains of the structure.

  2. Survey, restitution, and reconstruction projects were prepared; the Conservation Board approved these projects.

  3. Fatih Municipality started the restoration works in 2023 and completed them in 2024; the mosque is open for worship after the restoration.

  • After the restoration, the mosque consists of an entrance and a mezzanine floor; the total usage area is 109 m².
