Changes After Construction
Sinan Agha had the mosque built in the 15th century.
The original structure fell into ruin over time; by the 20th century, its structural integrity had disappeared.
In 1995, charitable citizens had the mosque rebuilt.
The mosque seen on the site after 1995 is a reinforced-concrete reconstruction; some of the remains of the original structure remained under the ground, and some disappeared.
Featured Highlights
The present-day structure is a reinforced-concrete reconstruction.
The interior contains a wooden ceiling arrangement; in the central part of the ceiling, there is an ornamental composition framing the chandelier and defined by an inscription-band arrangement.
There are graves/graveyard in the courtyard; this links the mosque, together with the place of worship, to a layer of remembrance/visitation.
