The prayer area was expanded to the north and combined with the adjacent apartment building.

It is also known as Zincirlikuyu Mosque.
It is said that the construction costs of the mosque were covered by selling the water drawn from the adjacent well which would turn into vinegar miraculously.
In the cemetery in front of the mihrab are the graves of Sirkeci Müslihiddin Efendi, his family and Seyyid Hafız Mehmed, who was the imam of the mosque for 41 years.
It was built on a total land of 300 m² and covers an area of 100 m² including the garden and courtyard.
There is a marble mihrab, minbar and preacher’s pulpit.
Rectangular and pointed arched windows on the south and west facades illuminate the interior.
