- Changes after its construction
  • It was converted into a mosque by adding a minbar between 1504 and 1514.
  • Burned in 1911, rebuilt in 1912.
  • It was severely damaged by a fire in 1991 and was rebuilt in 1992.
  • The mosque, which fell into disrepair over time, was renovated again in 1997.
- Prominent features
  • The walls up to the middle of the windows are covered with tiles, just like the mihrab.
  • Its ceiling, minbar and preacher’s pulpit are made of wood.
  • The upper hall is accessed via a wooden staircase.
  • The ceiling and upper parts of the walls are plastered with cement.
  • The roof is covered with tiles.
  • It has a small courtyard.
  • The single-balcony minaret is located on the right side of the mosque.
