It was converted into a mosque by adding a minbar between 1504 and 1514.
Burned in 1911, rebuilt in 1912.
It was severely damaged by a fire in 1991 and was rebuilt in 1992.
The mosque, which fell into disrepair over time, was renovated again in 1997.
- Prominent features
The walls up to the middle of the windows are covered with tiles, just like the mihrab.
Its ceiling, minbar and preacher’s pulpit are made of wood.
The upper hall is accessed via a wooden staircase.
The ceiling and upper parts of the walls are plastered with cement.
The roof is covered with tiles.
It has a small courtyard.
The single-balcony minaret is located on the right side of the mosque.
