Changes After Construction

  1. The building is located among the Süleymaniye Library buildings along with the Evvel and Sani madrasas.

  2. In 1957, the building gained the function of a children's library; this function ended in 1980.

  3. Today, the building is used as a book restoration workshop within the library unit.

  4. The building largely preserves its original plan layout and spatial arrangement; there are numerous interventions in detail.

  5. Iron joinery doors are located at the entrances; it is evaluated that the doors were wooden in their original state.
