Changes After Construction
The first construction was in 1760 (Mustafa III era), and it was rebuilt in masonry by Sultan Abdulmejid in 1858.
It underwent extensive restoration by the Directorate General of Foundations in 1975 and between 2017 and 2024.
Featured Highlights
It consists of a single-domed main area and a narthex. The mosque has a single-balcony minaret.
Since the narthex is placed according to the position of the road, the qibla is diagonally to the right.
There is a fountain in the garden.
On the door of the building, there is a repair inscription with the signature of Abdulmejid dating back to 1859.
