Changes After Construction:
The school was separated from its affiliated structure in 1944 and moved to its current building, continuing education under the name Istanbul Trade High School.
Since there was a primary school in the same building during the move, education continued as double-shift schooling within the same structure for a while.
Due to increased demand and a rising number of students in the 1944-1955 academic year, the rooms on the ground floor of the building were converted into classrooms.
Prominent Features:
The school has also been referred to by the names Hamidiye Trade School, Mekteb-i Ticareti Hamidi Nam-i Alisi, Istanbul Trade High School, and Sultanahmet 1st Trade High School.
The school is defined as the first vocational trade high school in Turkey.
Institutional records state that the campus contains 14 classrooms, 1 conference hall, and 1 library.
