Changes After Construction
The church was rebuilt in masonry in 1886 at a cost of 15,000 kuruş; the ceiling and roof were also renewed.
In the 1894 earthquake, the walls of the church, the priest’s residence, and its dome collapsed.
With the philanthropy of Apraham Pasha Yeramyan, it was repaired in 1927 and the bell tower was built.
The church underwent its most recent restoration with the support of the Küpelyan Family.
