Changes After Construction

  1. Before the church, there was a chapel in the area toward the end of the 16th century.

  2. The masonry church was rebuilt and opened for worship in 1857.

  3. The church underwent interior and exterior renovation in 1985.

  4. The church was repaired in 1998; it was consecrated and opened for worship by Archbishop Mesrob, Locum Tenens of the Patriarchate.

  5. The repair work started in mid-2014 reached its final stage in August 2015.
