Changes After Construction

  1. Its minbar was built by Safiye Hanım, the daughter of Kazabadlı Osman Efendi, who died after being dismissed from the Kaaba.

  2. It was destroyed in the great fire that occurred in 1918.

  3. In 1955, with the help of the public, it was rebuilt with a reinforced concrete flat ceiling and a narthex was added.
