- Changes after its construction
  • Originally built as a madrasah guesthouse, the building was used as a madrasah after it lost its function as a guesthouse.
  • Its dome, which collapsed in the 1766 earthquake, was rebuilt after 1956.
  • The building, which served as a part of the Fatih Social Complex, also included a kitchen and soup kitchen that served meals to the residents of the guesthouse and the students of the madrasah.
  • Since it was built on a high point of the land, a caravanserai was also built under the building.
  • Today, it serves as a mosque for the students of the Fatih Mosque Men’s Quran Course.
  • It is open to the public during Friday prayers.
  • It was repaired and revived by the association and foundation in 1983.
