Changes After Construction:
- Due to landslides in the section of the building facing the Golden Horn, this façade was reinforced with high retaining walls; the entrance on this façade became unusable, and access was redirected through a door opening from one of the large halls.
- In 1997, the roof was overhauled, and the rainwater drainage system along with some window panes were replaced.
- In 1997, all student toilets were completely renovated.
- In 1998, the electrical system was placed under plaster, renewed, windows were converted to PVC frames, and the heating system was fully overhauled.
- In 1998–1999, the teacher’s toilet building, originally single-story and adjacent to the existing building, was reconstructed as a three-story structure.
- In 2013, a restoration tender was held for the building, which has second-degree historical monument status; the school building was vacated and handed over to the contractor for restoration works.
