Changes After Construction:
  • While the structure was an educational building belonging to Ali Said Pasha, it was used as a private school under the name “Hadikayı Maarif”; later, the Girls’ Middle School in At Pazarı moved to this building, and the school continued its education under the name “Fatih İnas Numune.”
  • In 1929, the Directorate of National Education had the structure demolished and a concrete building constructed in its place; the structure was opened for education in 1930 under the name “15th Primary School.”
  • In the 1949-1950 academic year, the school’s name became “Yavuz Selim Primary School.”
  • The structure was demolished due to cracks forming in the building; the current main building became operational in 1960.
  • In the 1995-1996 academic year, the school’s name was changed to “Yavuz Selim Primary Education School”; during the same period, “Muallim Yahya Primary School” was annexed to the school.
