Zihnipaşa Mosque
Changes After Its Construction:
- An additional building was added to the mosque in 1980.
- It was restored by the 2nd Regional Directorate of Foundations in 2013.
Prominent Features:
- It is also known as Erenköy Station Mosque.
- The mosque has a single minaret with a single balcony.
- The interior texts were written by the famous calligrapher Sami Effendi.
- Cut stone was used in the construction of the mosque, the minbar and preacher’s pulpit are wooden, and the mihrab is marble.
- There is a fountain in the courtyard and the graves of Mustafa Zihni Pasha and his family.
