After the fire of 1782, the building was rebuilt in 1832 under the name Hristos Analipsis.
According to the inscription above the door, the renewal is dated March 1, 1832, and the inscription gives the architect as Konstantinos.
As of December 2022, restoration work is being carried out by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.

The Analipsis holy spring is located within the courtyard.
Its outer walls are built of rubble stone masonry, and the exterior façades are plastered.
In his 1578 travel account, Stephan Gerlach wrote that he visited a church here; Trifon Karabeynikov recorded the church’s name as Panagia Psomatia Mahaletha.
