  • The building commenced its educational activities on 20 Rabi’ al-awwal 913 (July 30, 1507).
  • The building fell into a state of ruin due to neglect.
  • It was repaired by the Foundations (Vakıflar) around 1960.
  • Following the repair, the building was assigned a function inconsistent with its architecture and used as the Hakkı Tarık Us Library.
