The structure has also been used under the names “Girls’ Art Institute,” “Kadıköy Girls’ Vocational High School,” and “Kadıköy Vocational and Technical High School for Girls” throughout its history.
The campus developed on the site of the Notre Dame de Sion girls’ school building, which opened in Moda in 1863 and was converted into the Girls’ Art Institute after being purchased in 1936; the aforementioned old structure was later demolished and replaced by the vocational high school building.
The school campus is located on Moda Avenue, near the intersection of the tram line.
The campus includes a Practice Kindergarten and a Conference Hall.
